When do Beavers meet?

Our Beaver Colonies currently meet on:

  • Monday, 6.00pm to 7.00pm – Pathfinder Colony
  • Wednesday, 6.00pm to 7.00pm – Woodward Colony

All of our Beaver Colonies have both boy and girl Beavers.

Occasionally, we also run additional optional activities on other evenings and at weekends.

How much does Beavers cost?

We charge a membership subscription fee of £12.00 per month. This membership fee covers activity insurance, programme materials, badges and also goes towards the heating, lighting and maintenance of the building. It is still payable even if a member does not attend a Colony Night.

Please also be aware that activities outside of the section meeting may be at extra cost.

What do Beavers do?

Beaver Scout activities are a combination of learning, adventure and having fun:

  • They learn about how to look after themselves
  • Beavers get to know people from their local community
  • They find out about life in other countries
  • Beavers explore through organised activities
  • They care by helping those around them

We also offer occasional activities on other nights and weekends.

All of our meetings are ran by trained and experienced Leaders who are supported by a team of Skills Instructors and helpers. Also, all of our Adult Volunteers are vetted by an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
