All of our Sections are running virtual meetings again this week! These meetings will be ran by your usual Leaders, at the usual time and we’re going to make them as fun and adventurous as possible!
This week Beavers are working towards their International Scouting badge.
From the 23rd November, there will only be virtual meetings for Beavers on Monday evenings. Tuesday and Thursday Beavers are more than welcome to join in on Monday evenings instead.
If you can’t attend on a Monday night instead of Tuesday or Thursday, please let the Beaver leader team know at [email protected].
This week Cubs are going to be working towards their Naturalist badge.
This week Scouts are continuing to work on the Expedition Challenge that they started last week and both Troops are meeting on Wednesday starting at 7:00pm.
Many Scouts need to complete their Expedition Challenge before they can gain the Chief Scouts Award. The plan is to run an Expedition Challenge weekend in the new year as soon as weather conditions and government restrictions allow. The Expedition will take place on a Saturday & Sunday without the overnight camp, instead Scouts will return home on Saturday night and rejoin the expedition on Sunday morning. This expedition will be open to those Scouts who complete the virtual training sessions.
Scouts who attended the Menu planning session two weeks ago are reminded that they should email or text their menus as soon as possible. Scouts who attended the Kit training session last week should email their kit list as soon as possible. Email to [email protected] or text to 07710 113291
