Come along and join us for an overnight sleepover with your Beaver friends!
All Beavers are welcome, and we will support those who are staying away from home for the first time. We will be introducing the beavers to skills, like putting up a tent, setting up there sleeping area, building and taking part in a camp fire with roasted marshmallows, cooking a meal on a fire, some basic first aid and exploring the local wildlife and making a bug hotel!
We will be running this jam packed camp at the Scout Hut, so that beavers that are new to camping are in a familiar place and not so far from home for their first night away, for any nervous first time campers there will be so much to do and explore that they wont even have time to worry that they are away from home.
Over this weekend Beavers will earn their Outdoor Challenge badge, which also works towards the Chief Scout Bronze award which is the highest award that the beavers can achieve.
