All members, parents, member’s family and friends are all invited to come and join the fun of a family night at the races. This is one of the group’s most popular events of the year!
Reminder for our members about Remembrance Day Parade.
All Cubs, Scouts, Explorers & uniformed Adults should attend this parade. Only those members with exceptional excuses will be excused from attending. Please can anyone who is unable to attend contact their Cub, Scout or Explorer Leader before the start of the parade.
Please make sure all members bring a warm, waterproof coat with them. If the forecast improves then we will carry the coats, but a coat is an essential.
Beavers are asked to attend the first part of the parade.
Date: Sunday 10th November
Everyone needs to arrive at the Scout Hut between 9.45am and 10.00am. We will finish back at the Scout Hut at 2.00pm.
Anyone needing to leave earlier please speak to a Leader before the parade.
Beavers need to arrive at the Scout Hut between 9.45am and 10.00am. Please collect them from the Cenotaph at 11.30am.
Full & correct uniform must be worn and please make an extra special effort to ensure that uniforms are complete and especially smart. Beavers need to wear full & correct uniform including black, navy blue or dark grey ‘school’ trousers and plain black footwear. It is likely to be cold and as we will only be wearing coats if it is raining, it’s important therefore to wear extra layers of clothing under the uniform. Gloves can be worn if they are dark coloured.
Everyone is asked to wear a poppy.
This year our Christmas carol service will be on Monday 23rd December!
All Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Adults and family members are invited to join the Group at the Annual Christmas Carol Service at Bedworth All Saints Church. This event will run from 6.30pm to 7.30pm . Everyone is asked to arrive at the church between 6.15pm and 6.25pm so that everyone is seated by 6.30pm.
All Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and uniformed adults should wear their uniform. If you would like to brighten up your uniform with tinsel woggles and such like that would be fine. Free refreshments will be provided afterwards.
This year we will be supporting Nuneaton Homeless Shelter, which runs during the winter months from one of the Nuneaton Church Halls. We would appreciate if people could bring along donations such as new underwear and socks (mens and womens), warm coats, sleeping bags or non perishable food items (tinned foods, UHT milk, tea, coffee etc).
We hope to see as many members as possible as we all come together for the final group event of the year!
All Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Adults and their families and friends are invited to attend this free event. There will be a buffet, games and a Disco. Please can all members wear their uniform for the start of the event but they can change into party clothes after the presentations of awards.

Come and join us for Family Camp 2019! This activity camp is perfectly suited for all of the family. Come along and try something new and experience the thrills that your family get from our active programme all year round.
Before paying deposits we are asking all adults to complete their DBS paperwork and hand it in along with documents needed when paying the deposit. This it to help avoid any disappointment.
The camp site that we wanted was fully booked so we have changed campsites to Rough Close, Coventry. As part of this move we have had to exclude the Kayaking and Fencing activities, but have included plenty more.
This St George’s Day event is for all members to attend in full smart uniform (Smart trousers e.g. school trousers no jeans etc… and school type shoes, not trainers). All Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and uniformed adults are expected to attend unless they have a very good reason not to attend. Anyone unable to attend is expected to contact Woody before the start of the Parade. We will meet up in the quadrangle in front of Bedworth Almshouses between 1.00 pm and 1.15 pm. Pick up will be the same place at around 3.30 pm.
The Parade will be from the Almshouses to Bedworth Civic Hall where the service and presentation event will be held. Afterwards we will parade back to the Almshouses. Parents are welcome to stay and watch the event, and subject to space they will be welcome to join in the event at the Civic Hall. If the weather is dry we will not be wearing coats. Please wear a smart waterproof coat if it is raining or looks like it will rain on the day. Please bring some change for a collection that will be donated to this year’s good cause.
