Family Camp 2018: An overview

Activities this year will include:

Coracling

Fun for all of the family. Coracling is our water activity this year. It’s basically an upside down turtle shell that you sit in and paddle. It’s great fun and is definitely an activity we’ve only ever seen on this campsite.

Coracling

Tomahawk throwing

A very fun and a very safe activity. Come and test your accuracy skills by learning how to throw special throwing axes into targets. This activity is fairly new to the campsite and something that 1st Bedworth has never done before!

Shelter building

Does what it says on the tin. Working as part of a group, you will work with a Leader to build your own shelter so that you can survive the elements…

Frisbee golf

A little bit of fun and time to bond with your family do anything to win while playing the large frisbee golf course around the campsite.

Backwoods cooking

For those of you that came last year, this will build on the fire lighting skills you learnt and will take it one step further to preparing and cooking a backwoods meal. No utensils and grills found on these fires!

Low ropes course

Great fun and surprising challenging. Compete against others or work as a team to get around the low ropes course.

Orienteering

A nice orienteering course (map reading and a little bit of walking) around the campsite. We might even throw some challenges in along the route… or maybe not. Who knows? Come along to find out!

Assault course

The assault course was a great hit last year, and we need to keep you lot active so we thought why not?

Come and join the adventure!
