Scout Hut Location

We meet at our own Headquarters which is usually called ‘The Scout Hut’ or just simply ‘The Hut’, in Bedworth town centre. The ‘Scout Hut’ stands in its own grounds just off Church Way, behind the Aldi & Home Bargains stores.

To find ‘The Hut’ walk down Church Way from Mill Street. You will have Bedworth Market Hall on your left, and the Aldi & Home Bargains stores to your right. Walk on the right hand footpath past Home Bargains. The footpath then bears to the right and there is a large grassed area to your left. Follow the path past the bench and you will see a metal fence with a gate to your right. Go through the gate and you are now in the grounds of the Scout Hut.

Safety and Safeguarding

As part of the Scout Association we have rigorous safety and safeguarding policies. All of the adult members of the Group have Enhanced Criminal Record Bureau checks (CRB), hold First Aid qualifications and receive appropriate Leadership Training. All activities in Scouts are are risk assessed and conform to National Governing Body regulations where appropriate. Many leaders hold National Governing Body qualifications from such bodies as the Royal Yachting Association, Grand National Archery Association and National Small-bore Rifle Association.
