Explorers are meeting at the Scout Hut and the rest of our Sections are running virtual meetings this week! This week is our last week of meetings for the year. Have a great Christmas and New Year!
This week Beavers will be making Christmas crafts. You will need:
- Paper
- Scissors
- Crayons
You may wear festive clothing if you would like to!
From the 23rd November, there will only be virtual meetings for Beavers on Monday evenings. Tuesday and Thursday Beavers are more than welcome to join in on Monday evenings instead.
If you can’t attend on a Monday night instead of Tuesday or Thursday, please let the Beaver leader team know at [email protected].
This week Cubs are having a Christmas party games night! Cubs should wear Christmas jumpers or hats, or anything party related!
You will need:
- A Biscuit for one of the games
- A Christmas bauble for one of the games
- The below ingredients to make microwave cakes
- large microwaveable mug
- 4 tbsp self raising flour
- 4 tbsp caster sugar
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 drops vanilla extract
- 1 medium egg
- 3 tbsp milk
- optional if you want to add 2tbsp nuts
- chocolate chips
- cocoa powder
- raisins
This week cubs will be extending their meeting to finish at 8:30pm. If anyone needs to leave earlier that is not a problem.
This week Scouts are having a Christmas games night and both Troops are meeting on Wednesday starting at 7:00pm. We would like to encourage all scouts to wear Christmas jumpers, fancy dress or similar.
We are excited to share that this week Explorers will be meeting face to face at the Scout Hut!
