Gift Aid

Gift Aid is a tax incentive from the government to support charities and community organisations like ours. It allows us to claim back a portion of the income tax you have already paid on the donations (monthly subscriptions) you make to our Scout Group.

By signing up for Gift Aid and providing us with your necessary information, such as your name, home address, and confirmation that you are a UK taxpayer, we can claim 25p for every £1 you donate. This means that a £12 donation can turn into £15 for our Scout Group, at no additional cost to you.

If you pay income tax or capital gains tax we can reclaim the tax you have already paid on your child’s weekly subscriptions (subs). This involves no cost to yourself and does not require you to disclose any personal information other than that request on this form. You simply need to complete and sign Section A.

If you do not pay tax or do not wish to allow us to claim Gift Aid then please complete Section B.
