Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers are meeting this week. Please make sure you read the important information.
This week Beavers are meeting at the Scout Hut and are going to be doing some bouldering and playing some games.
We will be outside for the evening so please make sure you come dressed appropriately for the weather. It is important to bring a full drinks bottle with you.

This week the Cubs are going to be having a water games night.
Please bring a full drinks bottle, towel, spare change of clothes and dress for the weather.

This Wednesday we will be lighting wood fires and making and cooking dough twists. Please wear old clothes as this will be a very messy activity. Don’t forget to come suitably dressed for the weather as we will be outdoors all night.
For the next three weeks all Scouts are asked to attend the Wednesday night meeting as there will be no meetings on Friday evenings.
From Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th September will be running our Troop Nights on Tuesday and Wednesday, from 7pm to 9pm on both nights. Both Tuesday & Wednesday nights are for both boys and girls. All Scouts need to decide which night they wish to attend and let us know their choice of night by emailing [email protected] by Wednesday 1st September please.
From the 7th & 8th September we will start wearing uniform again on Troop Night. The uniform for both boys and girls is the same:
- Green Scout Shirt
- Black, Dark Grey or Navy Blue full length ‘school type’ trousers
- Plain black, polishable, boots or shoes with matching laces
- Royal Blue 1st Bedworth necka’ with appropriate woggle
- Black, Navy Blue or Dark Grey socks that are over the ankle
Can we remind everyone please that it is really important to let us know if Scouts are going to be absent from their meeting night on a Wednesday or Friday night. To tell us know either email [email protected] or text 07710113291 before the start of the meeting.
We would prefer that Scouts leave their mobile phone at home when they attend Scout Activities including Wednesday & Friday Night. If Scouts do bring a mobile with them it is their responsibility to keep it safe. Mobiles must not be used during meetings and activities and it must remain out of sight in a bag or secure pocket or similar.
