Last week we successfully ran virtual meetings for over 100 of our members! We’re hoping to beat that number this week!
Your challenge for this week is to make your own Saint George’s Shield and Sword to bring along to your next Beaver meeting. We will also be doing a quiz about the story of Saint George.
Here are some useful links that you and an adult can look at together to learn more about Saint George.

Try and complete at least one of the activities which are listed in this St George’s day activity pack.
Those of you who were able to join us on our first virtual meetings last week, we hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as we did! We hope that you will join us for our meetings this week.
Don’t forget to wear your necka this week if you have one to earn extra points. You will also need your necka to join in the fun online challenge. If you don’t have a necka you could improvise one out of a tea towel or similar with an elastic band as a ‘woggle’ so you can join in the fun challenge.
Don’t forget our other challenge for this week’s online meeting to create a virtual Saint George’s Day background. Use your imagination and let’s see what you can do. Extra Scout of the Month points are up for grabs!
This week we’re doing a scavenger hunt.
This is our second week of being as ‘back to normal’ as we can be, with all Sections having virtual meetings. The meetings will be ran by your usual Leaders, at the usual time and we’re going to make them as fun and adventurous as possible!
Please can all members check their emails for more information. If there are any problems, concerns or you do not have an email from us, please get in touch at [email protected] and we’ll do our best to help.
Just because we’re not meeting at the Scout Hut at the moment, it doesn’t mean we can’t carry on Scouting at home!
