Scouts

A competition for all Scouts!

This week you need to find out where Baden-Powell held the first Scout Camp. On Troop night all of the Scouts getting this correct will then be asked a simple question about something in the info below. Everyone getting both questions correct will be awarded ‘Scout of the Month points’.

Tuesday & Wednesday Troop Nights

Haddon Troop will be meeting from 7.00pm to 9.00pm on Tuesday.
Wilson Troop will be meeting on Wednesday from 7.00pm to 9.00pm.

Scouts are asked to arrive between 6.45pm and 6.55pm and go straight to their leaders. There is no need to wait at the gate if it is open.

Scouts & Cubs need to wear full uniform, if they have one and it still fits! It is important that everyone wears a t-shirt under their Scout Shirt or Cub Sweatshirt so that they can take off their uniform shirt or sweatshirt as soon as the opening formalities have been completed. They will not need a change of trousers unless they are particularly concerned about their uniform trousers getting a bit dirty.

Please remember that we will be outdoors most of the night so they will most likely need a warm jumper or similar, and possibly a warm waterproof coat depending upon the weather. They also need to bring a bottle filled with water or a suitable non-fizzy drink.

You can download a copy of our Welcome to 1st Bedworth Scouts information pack here. The information gives you lots of important information that you need to know for Troop Night.

Good news – tuck shop is back!
