All of our Sections are running virtual meetings. Last week we successfully ran virtual meetings for over 100 of our members! These meetings will be ran by your usual Leaders, at the usual time and we’re going to make them as fun and adventurous as possible!
This week at Beavers we will be doing an International night.
If possible, we would like you to dress up in clothing from another country; this could be traditional clothing, the colours of the flag or a sports shirt of that country.
Then we would like you to find out how to say some common phrases such as hello and goodbye from that country.
It would be handy if you could have a second device ready to use during the meeting, however this isn’t essential.
This week the Cubs are doing a games night. We’ve got loads of fun games lined up for all of the cubs!
We hope that everyone who joined our virtual Troop Meeting last Tuesday enjoyed themselves!
This week the Scouts are going to be doing some activities around the artist badge. You have two challenges to complete before the meeting:
- Your first challenge is to create an Art themed background. You can choose an artist or a style of art and theme it around that. (Pop art, classicism, cartoon, impressionism, cubism…)
- Your second challenge is to find an artist that has painted a portrait and to recreate that portrait. Yes that’s right… you will be the art!
We hope that everyone who joined our virtual Troop Meeting last Wednesday enjoyed themselves.
We have a virtual Troop Night again this week and we hope that even more of you will join in and have fun. Don’t forget to wear your necka for bonus points.
