All of our Sections are running virtual meetings again this week! These meetings will be ran by your usual Leaders, at the usual time and we’re going to make them as fun and adventurous as possible!
This week Beavers are having a virtual meeting.
From the 23rd November, there will only be virtual meetings for Beavers on Monday evenings. Tuesday and Thursday Beavers are more than welcome to join in on Monday evenings instead.
If you can’t attend on a Monday night instead of Tuesday or Thursday, please let the Beaver leader team know at [email protected].
On Monday 7th December we will be making melting snowman cookies. You will need:
- Biscuits/cookies to decorate
- Icing Sugar
- Coloured icing gels
Or why not try something different?
We will use the icing gels to draw the faces and decorate our snowmen, but if you want to use something different then why not try using:
- Strawberry laces to make the scarf
- Smarties to use as buttons
- Matchmakers to make the arms
These are just some suggestions but we would love to see what else you think of! You could even bake some cookies yourself to decorate!
This week Cubs are having a virtual meeting and are working towards their International badge. They’ll be learning about what the World Scout Badge means and about some different countries.
This week Scouts have a special guest joining the virtual meeting and both Troops are meeting on Wednesday starting at 7:00pm.
Our special guest will be giving us an insight into how All Saints Church is involved with the Bedworth Community. This will be a very interesting evening and will qualify for part of the Scout World Challenge that most Scouts need for their Chief Scouts Gold.
It’ll be great to see as many of you as possible at this weeks meeting to help make our guest feel welcome.
This week the Explorers are having a virtual meeting
All members should have received an email from [email protected] with the information on how to join the virtual meetings. If you have not received the information please check your junk folder. If there are any problems, concerns or you do not have an email from us, please get in touch at [email protected] and we’ll do our best to help.
Just because we’re not meeting at the Scout Hut at the moment, it doesn’t mean we can’t carry on Scouting at home!
