Come and join us spending a weekend aboard a narrowboat, learning skills we cannot do on a regular cub pack night!
Cubs taking part will spend the weekend living on, crewing and operating a 12 berth narrowboat on the canal system around Rugby. They will take turns learning how to helm the boat, and help to open and close the locks as they travel along the canal. This really is a ‘hands on’ weekend. Cubs will gain knowledge of wildlife on the canals and a history of the canal system. As well as all of this, Cubs will gain both their Nights Away and their Journey on Water badges!
This camp is now fully booked. We are looking at the possibility to put on another narrowboat weekend in the future. If you would be interested in your child taking part on this weekend, please let us know which of the below possible dates they would be available by emailing us at [email protected]
