All of our Sections are running virtual meetings again this week! Explorers will be meeting every other week and have a meeting this week. These meetings will be ran by your usual Leaders, at the usual time and we’re going to make them as fun and adventurous as possible!
This week Beavers are having a virtual meeting and will be doing a virtual tour of Harry Potter World!
Read the Beavers newsletter for February to see what you need for the rest of the month.
This week the Cubs are having a virtual meeting and will be working towards their Naturalist Badge.
You’ll just need to have a look at the Countryside Code and try and answer some questions about it for this week.
This Wednesday we are playing ‘Among Us’. Don’t forget to look at the February Newsletter for details of how to download the game onto your device and remember you need to do this before the start of the meeting on Wednesday. Also very important is that you have a parent or carers permission to play ‘Among Us’ on Wednesday. The best way to do this is for your parent or carer to email [email protected] before the meeting. If we haven’t received an email before the meeting on Wednesday we will need to parents to come on camera at the start of the meeting to give their permission.
We were very impressed with the Pizzas you made on Wednesday. They looked delicious, we hoped you enjoyed eating them. For those of you who were not on the virtual meeting on Wednesday we would like you to follow the recipe in the February Newsletter and make your Pizza, take a picture of the result and email it to [email protected] or text it to 07710 113291. This will count towards your Skills Challenge & Chef Badge.
Don’t forget also that if you haven’t done the ‘Duvet Challenge‘ there is still time to do it. Learn how to change a duvet cover and then when you have learnt how to do it, try doing it against the clock. Start the clock when you start to put the cover on and stop the clock when the cover is on properly. Get someone to take a picture of you doing it, and send your pictures and time either by email to [email protected].
Watch out for your March Newsletter coming soon for details of an exclusive badge that only the Scouts taking part in the activities during March & April will be able to earn and wear on their uniform. You will be able to complete this badge whether or not you take part in the virtual meetings.
Read the Scouts newsletter for February to see what you need for the rest of the month.
Explorers are having a virtual meeting this week.
