Location
The Explorer winter camp will be based at John Lee’s Wood Campsite in Leicester, this is a campsite that many of the explorers will not have been to before so it will be a new experience for them, we will be staying in the main building there.
On the Friday the Explorers will be dropped off at the Scout hut in Bedworth before heading over to site on a minibus, they’ll then have free time to settle in and watch a film.
On Saturday we will be heading into Leicester City where they will be given free time to enjoy the city centre, they will also have a trip to a trampoline park.
On the Sunday we will be taking the Explorers to Bradgate Park, before returning to Bedworth.
Explorer winter camps have proven to be very popular in the past and so we have tried to make this open to as many people as possible but spaces are still limited so please book on as soon as possible.
Who?
This camp is open to all Explorers in the group.
Activity payments
We are currently not able to accept any cash payments. Our preferred method of payments are via bank (BACS) transfer. If you cannot do a bank transfer we do have an alternative cash free method available if necessary.
